The Four Phases of the Family Treatment Court Program

There are four phases of the Family Treatment Court Program, which all participants will follow. This is specific to those clients engaged in outpatient treatment services.

Phase One Average completion time: 3 months
This Phase Includes:

  • Meet with FTC Case Manager weekly in the home, at work, or in the office
  • Random urine screen minimum of once a week
  • Intensive out patient group therapy weekly
  • Attend family session weekly
  • Self-help support meetings 3 times a week
  • Obtain a self-help sponsor, at least temporary
  • Appear before the Judge weekly
  • Visitation with child 4 hours per month supervised or more as Team allow

To successfully complete Phase One, participants must have a minimum of six consecutive negative urine screens. Participants must have attended a minimum of 90% of all individual and group sessions, and 90% of the self-help support meetings.

Phase Two Average completion time: 3 months.
This Phase includes:

  • Meet with Ftc Case Manager every other week in the home, at work, or in the office
  • Random urine screen minimum of once a week
  • Group therapy weekly
  • MRT session weekly
  • Self help support meetings 3 times a week
  • Appear before the judge every other week
  • Visitation with child 4 hours er week of which up to 4 hours of the total hours may be unsupervised, or more as Team allows

To successfully complete Phase Two, participants must have a minimum of eight consecutive negative urine screens. Participants must have attended a minimum of 90% of all individual and group sessions, and 90% of the self-help groups.

Phase Three Average completion time: 3 months
This Phase includes:

  • Meet with FTC Case Manager as needed or required, in the home, at work, or in the office.
  • Random urine screen minimum of once a week
  • Group therapy weekly
  • Self-help support meetings 3 time a week
  • Appear before Judge a minimum of once evry three weeks
  • Visitation with our c hiild every other weekend, unsupervised from Friday at 6:00 pm to sunday at 6:00 pm. to have this visitation, however, you must have a fit and appropriate place for the child to stay.

To successfully complete Phase Three, a minimum of eight consecutive urine screens must be clean, successful enrollment in an educational program, a job training program, or employed at least part-time, adequate housing and appropriate support system, and attendance at 90% of group sessions and self-help support meetings.

Phase Four Average Completion time: 3 months
This Phase includes:

  • Meet with FTC Case Manager as needed or required, in the home, at work, or in the office
  • Random urine screen minimum of once a week
  • Group therapy weekly
  • Self-help support meetings 3 times a week
  • Appear before the Judge a minimum of once every 4 weeks
  • The child resides with you on a trial home visit

To successfully complete Phase Four, a minimum of 12 consecutive urine screens must be clean, successful enrollment in an educational program, a job training program, or employed at least part-time, adequate housing and appropriate support system, and attendance at 90% of group sessions and self-help support meetings.
