Magistrate M. Keith Siskin After graduating from law school, Magistrate Siskin moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and accepted a position as Law Clerk of the Chancery Court for Rutherford County. After serving as Law Clerk for a year, Siskin accepted a position with a law firm in Nashville, and thereafter started his own law practice in Murfreesboro. In private practice, Siskin handled all types of cases, but focused primarily on family law and Juvenile Court matters. In 2004, Siskin was appointed by Judge Donna Scott Davenport as Juvenile Court Referee (Magistrates were known as Referees prior to 2009). Magistrate Siskin is an active member of the community, having served as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President, and President of the Rutherford/Cannon County Bar Association, and further holding current membership positions in the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Andrew Jackson American Inn of Court, and Tennessee Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. Additionally, Magistrate Siskin is admitted as an Attorney and Counsellor of the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He also volunteers with the Murfreesboro Lions Club, serving as First Vice-President of that organization. |
