Preventative Generic Drug List

Cigna is the provider of record for the Medical and Dental Insurance plans as offered by the Rutherford County Government.

Both the medical and dental plans are Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) based. Benefit levels are subject to plan guidelines and In-network/Out of Network provider arrangements.

MedPoint On-Site Medical Clinics

The Rutherford County Government has contracted with Take Care Health Systems to provide clinical sites for participants in the medical insurance plan. Dependents of employees who are also covered under the medical insurance plan have access to the services provided at the clinic.

Services rendered at the clinic are of no cost to employees and eligible dependents who are enrolled in PPO Options 1 or 2. Employees and eligible dependents enrolled in the Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Option 3 will be subject to office $50.00 co-payment in accordance with plan guidelines.

If you are referred to another medical provider/facility, expenses incurred at the referral site will be subject to medical plan guidelines, deductibles etc.
