Lieutenant Brad Harrison

It has been my privilege to serve the citizens of Rutherford County for 15 years. My experience within the department includes working in detention, patrol division, a member of the F.A.S.T. Team and Marine Patrol. I am currently assigned as a supervisor and a substitute in the SRO Division.

Lieutenant Brad Harrison began his career with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office on February 28, 1989, as a Detention Officer. At the age of 19, then Officer Harrison joined the Patrol Division and two years later was made a Field Training Officer within the Patrol Division. In 1996, Officer Harrision joined the School Resource Officer Division and was assigned to LaVergne High School for the next three years. In 1999, Deputy Harrision was promoted to Sergeant and in 2008 promoted to Lieutenant. In addition to his supervisory responsibilities, Lieutenant Harrision is currently assigned as a Field Supervisor and Substitute.

Since graduating from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in June, 1990, Lieutenant Harrison has continued his training in numerous areas and spent four (4) years as a member of the Felony-Arrest-Search-Tactical (F.A.S.T.) Team.
