I have been with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department since 1998.  Since my hire date I have worked as a dispatcher, road patrol officer, and for 10 years a school resource officer.  My first assignment as an SRO was at Siegel Middle School, then Rockvale Elementary/Middle School for 8 years and currently SRO at Holloway High School.  I was given a Sergeant position last September and now supervise Oakland High, Daniel McKee, Central Magnet, Kittrell Elementary and Lascassas Elementary Schools.  I also hold a current board position with the Tennessee School Resource Officer’s Association as treasurer for the last 6 years. 

Being at Holloway High School has been the most challenging school yet but very rewarding.  The kids at Holloway bring out the “Resource” part of my job.  I love working with the at risk youth of our community in guiding them in the right direction, assisting with personal needs and issues, and helping them with their educational goals.  I am proud to be a School Resource Officer.
