Deputy Reggie Farmer
Kittrell Elementary
End of Watch: 2004

Served with the Sheriff’s Department from 1999 until 2004. He served as a School Resource Officer at Kittrell Elementary School during his employment with the department. He passed away in 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. He had been previously employed with the Middle Tennessee State University Police Department and had retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard. He left behind a son, Reggie Farmer, Jr.

Deputy Bubba Howell
Rockvale Elementary
End of Watch: 2003

Served with the Sheriff’s Department from 1985-2003. He was a patrol officer, patrol supervisor and served as a School Resource Officer at Rockvale Elementary School from 1996 until his passing in 2003. Bubba left behind his wife Mary and son Zack.

These two officers were true examples of what police officers should
be in our communities. With that said they were two of the finest
SRO’s to have served, and both were loved by many children,
their families, teachers, staff and fellow officers.
