I am asking all parents, students, and faculty to alert
me of any safety issues in or around our school.

My name is Deputy Melissa Tilley. I work for the Rutherford County Sheriff's Dept. I am priviledged to be a School Resource Officer at Roy Waldron School and LaVergne Lake Elementary. I have been in Law Enforcement approximately 18 years and truly enjoy working with students and the wonderful faculties. I am striving to gain a rapport with the students and their families, hoping to make a difference in these children's lives and our future. I have a wonderful husband, Tim, of 20 years and 2 children - Shelley (13) and Clint (9). We are members of Antioch United Methodist Church in Nashville.

Our hobbies are riding quarter horses. Everyone competes in speed events such as barrel racing. It is something the family does together and keeps us in shape.
